Adhesive tapes

Foamed Acrylic - Very High Bond

High performance coated foamed acrylic adhesive. Plasticiser and UV resistant with good aging properties. Colours available are clear, white, black or grey. Thicknesses ranging from 0.25mm thru to 2.3 mm.

For structural bonding of metals and plastics. Ideal for bonding composite panels in the facade industry, signage mounting, name plates, shop fitting, coach building, panel and trim bonding.
Polyester High performance

Solvent acrylic adhesive coated to a polyester carrier.

Applications include point of sale materials, splicing, laminating, advertising and joining membranes prior to heat welding. Temperature range of -20 to +140c
Adhesive transfer

Available to suit ATG gun applicators.

Ideal for light weight bonding, print finishing, picture framing and point of sale.
Adhesive transfer High performance

A highly transparent pure acrylic adhesive available in 60 and 120 micron thicknesses. High temperature and shear performance reduces slipping or lifting in electronic product name plate or inlay applications. Excellent bonding and laminating properties to, metal, ABS, acrylic, polycarbonates and high energy film materials.

Applications in the electronics, signage, nameplate, screen printing and graphics industries.
Tissue

Both solvent acrylic and modified acrylic adhesives are available.

Used for laminating, bonding and mounting applications. Ideal for paper splicing, bonding fabrics, adhering name plates and trophies.
General purpose cloth

Aggressive rubber adhesive. Backing is very flexible and will conform around corners and curves.

Adheres well to rough and textured surfaces such as carpet, fabrics, leather, wood, plasterboard, concrete and rubber. Used in the exhibition, advertising and signage industries.
Premium cloth

Premium grade approved for use in Exhibition Centres. Differential synthetic rubber adhesive system allows clean removal of tape from flooring. Higher tack version also available.
Scrim

Polyester scrim coated on both sides with an aggressive, high strength translucent synthetic rubber adhesive.

Used in a wide variety of applications where high adhesion to difficult materials such as PE or PP films is required. Bonds to foams, vinyl, fabrics and MDF etc.
Foams

Double sided foam tapes consist of acrylic adhesives coated to cross-linked polyethylene foam and are available in thicknesses from 0.8 mm up to 3.2 mm thick.

Suitable for mounting of hangers, hooks, mirrors, bathroom fittings, cable ducting, point of sale items, shop fitting, signs and trim mounting. OEM and after market auto grades available in black also.
PVC foam glazing

A double sided high density black PVC foam coated on both sides with acrylic adhesive.

Standard thicknesses of 1.6mm, 3.2mm, 4.8mm and 6.4mm.

Chemically compatible with most popular window sealants. Foam is self shimming and will not ‘walk’ or ‘pump out’ of the joint under extreme expansion or contraction situations.Creates a permanent waterproof seal in both residential and commercial glazing systems. Can be easily die cut to produce gaskets to seal corners and transom joints in window frames. Also creates an effective seal in the manufacture and installation of Skylights, sealing of joints in the sheet metal and transport industries.
Structural glazing

A high density polyurethane double sided foam tape used in the construction of structural glazed panels (also referred to as spacer tape). Available in standard thicknesses of 3.2mm, 4.8mm, 6.4mm and 9.5 mm.

The high density foam ensures consistent thickness of the structural sealant and also provides an excellent thermal barrier to minimise heat transfer.
Spools and longer length rolls

Many of these double sided tapes are available in longer length rolls (spools or pancake rolls) for clients that due to their production process, wish to mechanically apply the tape rather than hand apply.
Soft PVC closed cell foam

Low density closed cell foam coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. Available in black or grey. A soft density foam that provides a reliable water tight seal at 30% compression.

Standard thicknesses of 1.6mm, 3.2mm, 4.8mm, 6.4mm, 9.5mm and 12.7mm. Rolls are reverse wound for quick, easy and clean application. The foam has good recovery after compression, is UV resistant and has good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis. Foam is also ‘swirl free’ which allows the user to drill through the foam after it is applied.

Suitable for use in partitioning to help reduce sound transmission and compensates for uneven surfaces. Also used in roofing and cladding and is ideal for sealing between window frames and cladding.
Medium PVC closed cell foam

Medium density closed cell foam coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. Available in black or grey. A medium density foam that provides a reliable water tight seal at 30% compression.

Standard thicknesses of 1.6mm, 3.2mm, 4.8mm, 6.4mm, 9.5mm and 12.7mm. Rolls are reverse wound for quick, easy and clean application. The foam has good recovery after compression, is UV resistant and has good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis. Suitable for sealing around electrical panels in petrol pumps, between logs in kit homes and is excellent as a water proof seal in residential aluminium windows. Available as die cut gaskets for sealing aluminium and timber windows.
Hard PVC closed cell foam

High density closed cell PVC foam coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. Available in black or grey. A hard density foam ideal for high load bearing applications and offers a reliable and water proof seal at 30% compression.

Standard thicknesses of 1.6mm, 3.2mm, and 6.4mm in grey. 1.6mm in black. Rolls are reverse wound for quick, easy and clean application. The foam has good recovery after compression, is UV resistant and has good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis. Foam is ‘swirl free’ which allows the user to drill through the foam after it is applied.

Used to seal roof sections in railway carriages to provide a long lasting waterproof seal. Also to side panels and vehicle sub frames to seal and reduce vibration in commercial vehicle construction. Available as die cut gaskets for sealing aluminium residential and commercial windows.
Polyethylene closed cell foam

Expanded cross linked polyethylene foam coated on one side with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Charcoal grey in colour. The pe foam is watertight at 10% compression and has a service temperature range of -15c to 80c. Available in thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 10mm and 12mm. It has excellent resistance to ageing, sound transmission, water absorption, ozone and solvents. When burnt the smoke emitted is non toxic and thicknesses greater than 6mm are flame retardant and complies with FMVSS302 standard.

Suitable for sealing rigid air conditioning duct flanges, ventilation grills and fire dampers, sealing electrical cabinets and used as a dam-wall to prevent leakage of sealants in the sealing of automotive windscreens.
Purlin tape

Self wound (no release liner) medium density self adhesive polyethylene foam tape used to help eliminate noise between purlins and roof sheets due to expansion and contraction. 5 mm thick (other thicknesses available). Slit to any size to suit purlin width. Colours available black or white.
Neoprene closed cell foam

An expanded neoprene closed cell rubber foam coated on one side with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Colour black.

The foam is oil, weather, heat, ozone resistant and flame retardant. Foam is of a medium density, has quick recovery and is watertight at 10% compression. Available in thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm, 4.8mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 19mm. Service temperature range of -15c to 105c.

Used for sealing electrical switchboards and cabinets, exterior light fittings, doors on rolling stock, gaskets in auto assembling, hatch covers, doors on trucks and buses and commercial glazing suites.
EPDM closed cell foam

EPDM rubber closed cell foam coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. Colour black.It is non-staining, non-corrosive and non-conductive. FDA approved to Section 17726 (non-poisonous, non-carcinogenic). Will not contaminate drinking water. Non-toxic and flame retardant to FMVSS302.

Medium density foam with good recovery and watertight at 10% compression. Available in thicknesses of 1.6mm, 2mm, 3.2mm, 4.8mm, 6.4mm, 9.5mm, 12.7mm and 19mm.

Used for sealing in facade systems, electrical enclosures and switchboards, exterior and interior lighting, industrial access doors and hatches on boats, domestic and commercial glazing systems and externally mounted air conditioning equipment.
PVC Nitrile closed cell foam

PVC Nitrile closed cell foam coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. Colour black.

Foam is of a medium density that offers a reliable and watertight seal at 10% compression, excellent recovery after compression and is flame retardant and self extinguishing. Resistant to UV, dilute acids and alkalis. Provides a consistent and long lasting seal. Available in thicknesses of 3.2mm, 6.4mm, 9.5mm and 12.7mm.

Used as a seal around electrical switch cabinets, marine hatches and between canopies and utility trays. Suitable for die cutting into gaskets used in the transport and electrical industries. Can be used as pipe wrap insulation on hot and cold pipes.
Urethane open cell foam

Soft, conformable open cell foam coated on one side with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Colour grey. Standard thicknesses of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 18mm. (For thicker sections please refer to our foam page).

Foam compresses very easily but recovers quickly. Absorbs sound and dampens vibrations. Conforms to irregular size voids.

Used for sealing concrete formwork, as a dust and insect barrier in light fittings, draught seal around doors and windows, sealing around office partitions and ceilings, vibration dampening on machine instrument panels, white goods, heaters, fans and air conditioning etc.
Silicone sponge foam

A high density cellular silicone rubber which has excellent resistance to temperature, ozone, oxidisation, ultraviolet light, cosmic and ionising radiation. Standard colour is off white. Available in a range of thicknesses from 1.5mm to 25mm.

Typical applications are where a soft, easily deformed rubber is required, for example high temperature seals and gaskets.

Double sided

Cloth / gaffer

Cloth tape general purpose

A fine textured cotton cloth coated on one side with a waterproof polyethylene and an aggressive rubber based adhesive on the other. Easily tears by hand and adheres to smooth and rough surfaces.

Used for book binding in the printing trades and libraries, repairing of canoes, tents and other outdoor covers, holding, joining and light sandblasting applications.
Premium cloth tape (gaffer)

Matt finish cloth tape with rubber adhesive.

Exhibition approved with clean removal. Holds down wires and cables in the entertainment industry. Used on photographic, stage and film sets.
Fluoro cloth tape

A matt neon fluoro cloth tape constructed of a vinyl impregnated high count cloth and coated with a white rubber based adhesive. Available colours, fluorescent green, orange, pink and yellow. The tape is non reflective, is easily torn clean and straight because of the high thread count and performs well at temperatures up to 93c.

Used as a neon gaffer tape for TV, film and photographic industries as the matt finish does not reflect light. Also used for bookbinding, moisture and dust proofing of equipment cases and film canisters, colour coding, holding cables and any application where vibrant colours are required.

Foil plain and reinforced

Reinforced aluminium foil

Pure aluminium foil with cotton mesh reinforcement and coated with a high tack, permanent acrylic adhesive. Aluminium backing has good conformability, low moisture vapour transmission and emission values along with high reflectivity of heat and light. Also resistant to UV light, temperature and aging. Foil backing is flame retardant to AS/NZS 1530.3-1999. Tape can easily be torn by hand whilst retaining high tensile strength.

Suitable for joining and sealing foil faced duct insulation on sheet metal and flexible air conditioning duct work. Can be used to join and seal foil insulation used in wall and roof applications. Creates an excellent vapour barrier that will stop moisture from penetrating the insulation material under the foil insulation.
Plain aluminium foil

A 40 micron pure aluminium foil coated with a high tack permanent acrylic adhesive, laminated to a silicone coated release liner for the protection of the adhesive and ease of handling. Aluminium backing has good conformability, low moisture vapour transmission and emission values along with high reflectivity of heat and light. Resistant to UV light and aging.

Suitable for joining and sealing foil faced fibreglass insulation around duct work and creating moisture barriers in refrigeration units. Excellent vapour barrier or heat shield tape. Ideal for joining aluminium laminated insulation panels, sleeves or other materials.
