Polyband

Polyband is an extruded butyl tape laminated with a fixed polyester liner. Butyl is 1mm thick, white in colour.

Unique high tack adhesive for instant grab. Special high strength non-tear laminated film. Supplied in self- wound rolls for ease of application. Very low moisture transmission rate. Service temperature range of -40 to +90c.

Reduces condensation in built up metal roofing systems.

Prevents air leakage through lap joints.

Can be used on purlins to prevent cold-bridging and to also separate different metal components to prevent bimetallic corrosion.

Excellent adhesion to coated steel and aluminium sheets without the need for primers.

A high performance air seal and moisture barrier tape developed especially for sealing side lap joints of metal roof and wall liners to reduce condensation and increase airtightness in buildings.
